Great release and thanks to the wolfSSL team for the detailed changelog.
The focus on post-quantum cryptography continues to stand out. It's good to see improvements across ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA, LMS, and XMSS, along with expanded PKCS#11 and X.509 support. The crypto callback enhancements and additional embedded hardware support for NXP LPC55S69, STM32U3, and Zephyr 4.3 are also valuable updates for developers working on embedded and IoT security.
I also appreciate the security hardening changes around RSA-PSS, CMAC verification, and the alignment of the SLH-DSA APIs with current NIST guidance. Even with the increase in reported CVEs, it's encouraging to see that many are limited to optional features or specific configurations, and that the project continues to respond quickly to responsible disclosures.
I found the release notes helpful and also put together some additional thoughts on this release here for anyone interested: [https://www.embassyresidences.in/embass … edge-park/].
Thanks again to everyone involved in the release.
