Topic: Where is the PERL script gencertbuff.pl located?

I saw this in a previous post:

>>   There is a perl script located here: <wolfssl-root>/gencertbuff.pl

That to me indicates that this script is shipped with WolfSSL. I have 3.15 but I don't see this perl script in my distribution.

I'm looking for a good generic way to convert PEM and DER files into C data structures, a nd this script supposedly does that.

Any pointer to where eI might get this PERL script greatly appreciated.

Re: Where is the PERL script gencertbuff.pl located?

Hi jb3,

There shouldn't be any such gencertbuff.pl file anywhere in the wolfSSL library. There is, however a file called gencertbuf.pl in the root directory wink - it seems to be just a typo when searching for the file. Do you mind if I ask where you saw the spelling of the file? It could be a typo that needs to be fixed in wolfSSL documentation.

Hope this helps!

Re: Where is the PERL script gencertbuff.pl located?

I saw it spelled that way in these forums. So I thats what I searched for.

I did find the correct file though when I searched for the file with the correct spelling. I probably should have just searched for all .pl files ... And I would have found it yesterday.

Thanks, Jim
