We have always prided ourselves on our mean time between a vulnerability report and delivering a fix. Our historical average is about 36 hours.
Like everyone else providing open source infrastructure software, we’ve been under a lot of pressure in the past 30 days with valid and meaningful reports from AI research efforts. Fortunately, we have been running AI based vulnerability scanners for a long time internally. As such, our report volumes have been a lot less than other projects.
The good news is that we have been able to buckle down and maintain our historical average of 36 hours between vulnerability report and fix during the deluge of the last 30 days.
