libeac3, part of the OpenPACE project, implements the Extended Access Control (EAC) protocols used by electronic passports, national ID cards, and other secure identity documents. FIPS 140-3 support is available for libeac3 (OpenPACE) with wolfCrypt FIPS, tested for use with libeac3 environments. wolfCrypt FIPS provides a lightweight cryptographic module for security focused deployments.
