OpenBao is an open-source secrets management platform used to store, manage, and distribute credentials, encryption keys, and certificates. wolfSSL is evaluating OpenBao with wolfProvider to verify operation with wolfCrypt FIPS.
OpenBao can use FIPS 140-3 validated cryptography through wolfProvider with no code changes to OpenBao and potentially no code changes to applications using it, provided FIPS-approved algorithms are used.
