It’s already possible to use ARMv8 crypto extensions with FIPS 140-3 using PAA (Processor Algorithm Acceleration) but did you know that we have researched using Xilinx/AMD’s hardened crypto with wolfSSL while being FIPS certified? Many benefits can come from using Xilinx/AMD’s hardened crypto accelerators, for example it free’s up the CPU to be used for other operations and it also comes with additional side channel hardening.
